Sourcing and transaction terms
US$500 non-refundable supplier/offtaker registration is separate from transaction fees. Brokerage/exchange fees range from 3%–9%, averaging 5% for planning; gold is 3%. Commercial emerald and gemstone transactions must exceed 5,000 carats.
Brokerage commissions may be payable by the buyer/offtaker, the seller, or both parties in agreed shares. Buyer/offtaker and seller acknowledge the agreed commission obligations; the definitive transaction agreement identifies the responsible party or parties, allocation, fee calculation basis and payment milestone. The stated commission is not automatically charged in full to each party.
Submitting a requirement creates a sourcing request. Supply, price, verification, logistics and delivery are confirmed in the quote and definitive agreement.
